I'm doing research for friend.
He has a set of about fifty coins. Octogon shaped, appears to be Aluminum. The back side has 20 Pfenning in the middle with the words Nurnburg, Further, Strassenbahn along the edge. The front of this one has a castle with the word Frauentor. Each coin has the same back side but a different impression on the front. There is No date.
His father found them at Hitlers HQs in Berlin during WWII. They were in a velvet lined box. The Box did not survive.
Does anyone have a clue? Haven't been able to find anything on the Web.
Thanks Ryon ryon.knop@us.army.mil
